E-File Nail Course

Duration: Half day course 9.30 – 1.00pm

Course information

 

Our E-File course will teach you how to use an electric filing system (E-File) on acrylic or gel nail enhancements. This will allow you to reduce the time spent on filing the nails and eliminate the risk of repetitive strain injury that is commonly associated with manual filing.

 

You will also be shown preparation of the natural nail and cuticle work that may be used when preparing the nails for gel polish application, acrylic or gel enhancements.

 

Previous experience is required for this course, you would need to be trained and experienced in nail enhancements (gel or acrylic).

  • Contra-indications
  • Anatomy of the nail
  • Client consultation
  • Techniques of using an E-File
  • Using the E-File to remove bulk from the nail enhancement, assist with infills, reduce the length of the nail and finishing techniques
  • Maintenance of the E-file
  • Contra-actions
