Course information

 

Our nail art course will teach you how to apply gel polish and nail art detailing on the clients natural nail or on nail enhancements.

You will also be shown preparation of the natural nail that can be used when preparing the nails for gel polish application and nail art detailing.

 

Previous experience of gel polish application is desirable for this course.

 

Course content

  • Health, safety and hygiene
  • Contra-indications
  • Anatomy of the nail
  • Preparation of the clients natural nail for gel polish and nail art application
  • Application of  base, colour, nail art designs and top coat/cap off nail art designs
  • Nail art detailing covering a range of techniques, including leopard, ombre, glitter overlay, crystal nails, foil overlay and marbling designs
  • Maintenance of the Gel Nail art
